We find Chuck Barfoot sidewalk-surfing on one of his handmade boards in front of his Barfoot Customs Boards depot in Rincon Point, CA . Originally a surfboard-shaper, Chuck was there at the very beginning of snowboarding, first constructing boards for Tom Sims in the late 70s, and then going out on his own in the early 80s, creating Barfoot Snowboards from scratch.
